“Daisy Mae is my name. I am a puppy mill momma that was rescued by Pug Partners. My foster mom says I have come a long way in becoming a family member. I now enjoy being petted and cuddled. I run to the door with my foster sisters when company comes. I do not like to bark though, I see no point, the other girls do enough barking. I also like company to pet me I no longer run and hide. Little kids do not scare me any more as long as they are not screaming and running around. I go check them out too now if they are nice and slow I like them to pet me too. I love the kitties, my foster kitties don’t run from me so I can go up to them and give kisses now and then.
My health is great, no signs of arthritis and vision is good. I have put on a couple pounds and my coat is shinning now.
I have discovered sleeping on the couch is better than the dog bed. I also enjoy sleeping in bed with my sisters, mom & dad now and then.
I am potty trained but my bladder does not hold much so I need to go out every couple of hours.
I do not mind the crate if I have to be in one. My foster mom & dad do not crate me but there is one set up so I can go to it if I feel the need.
If asked if I want to go out I get excited and dance around if I need to go. Oh and I have learned to dance standing on my back feet for treats. Love treats!
Loud storms & fireworks scare me badly. I will bark then with hackles up. But I am pretty easy going otherwise and active. My foster mom keeps trying to get pictures of me and Peeka playing but I hate that camera thing and the flash. I cannot help shutting down when the camera comes out.
I am looking for a loving forever home I hope somebody will take a chance on me being their forever pug.

Daisy Mae is adopted! Daisy Mae’s Happily Ever after story. Daisy is enjoying her retirement very much. She now will allow the grandkids and strangers to pet her. She goes to the door to greet
people and will bark now & then. She knows the word treat and can
spell it! (just like the other girls) She does very well and as
healthy as any 3 year old dog. We love her very much. :)
